Andrea Navedo
Andrea Navedo is an American actor and author. Her career began in the soaps One Life to Live, Guiding Light. Later she had many supporting roles in primetime TV. Andrea Navedo, an American singer and actress, was born in The Bronx New York United States 10th October 1977. Navedo was the first professional actress to appear in dramas for daytime. In 1995 through 1997 Navedo starred on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live in the character in the role of Linda Soto. The show was relaunched as Guiding Light, a CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. The actress made her debut in film by playing a minor part in Girl 6 (1996) then starred in episodes of New York Undercover and The District. Navedo was as a character in Double Take, an action-comedy film in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the following year. Navedo was a recurring character on the NBC Crime series Law & Order, as Detective Ana Cordova from 2001-2004. He starred later on in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages and Blue Bloods and Blue Bloods. Navedo was also in a variety of films, including El Cantante and Remember Me. Navedo had recurring roles in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and How to Make It in America Golden Boy from 2011 until the year 2013. Superfast! was her first film. The Fast and the Furious Parody, released in 2015 is a mockumentary of the Fast and Furious Film Series. Navedo's professional journey began with daytime soaps. In 1995 through 1997, Navedo was Linda Soto in ABC's One Life to Live. She began her CBS role on Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. Her first film appearance was in a small role on Girl 6 (1996). Later, she guest-starred in seasons of New York Undercover, The District and The District. Navedo was the lead in Double Take, an action-comedy film in 2001.
